Danny Parente (piano / guitar / bass guitar)
Danny, born into a musical family in Montclair, New Jersey, possesses diverse musical talents. Danny is accomplished on several instruments including bassoon, piano, guitar, and bass guitar, and as a composer, is inspired by a broad range of musical genres from rock to jazz to classical. He has received awards and carried out prestigious playing opportunities during his high school, bachelor’s, and graduate school years. Danny received a full scholarship and stipend to attend Mason Gross School of the Arts as a student for a recently completed Master’s of Music Degree. Some highlights of his performance career include the Rite of Spring with the Montclair State Symphony Orchestra and Don Quixote with the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra. He also has performed with renowned pianist Peter Serkin and Orpheus Clarinetist David Singer. Danny has performed as a soloist and in numerous musical ensembles and bands across many genres.
As a music educator, Danny strives to instill a love for music in his students, with a determination to excel in performance. With a diligent approach to teaching, Danny instructs students to set and successfully reach musical goals, while nurturing their artistry. Danny teaches private piano, guitar, and bass guitar lessons for many students throughout the North Jersey region with Broadway Music Studio, his own private studio, and additional organizations.
